A cosmetic update for a busy family home
The Crosshill home
was a large renovation for a busy family in a suburb of Louisville. The renovation included an eat-in kitchen, pantry, keeping room, & laundry.
The client had a clear aesthetic direction & the tailoring & details of this project really come together to make a comfortable space for their large family. The connectedness & function of the kitchen made it the center of the renovated areas. The large island anchors the spaces & sits in between the keeping room & eat-in area of the kitchen.
Inset cabinetry with unlacquered brass hardware give the kitchen a historic appeal. The fireplaces in both the eat-in area & keeping room were updated to coordinate with the kitchen renovation.
