Timeless touches to a traditional home

The Seneca home

is a traditional brick home with classic architectural detailing. The homeowner dreamed of an all white, clean & timeless kitchen & a large soaking tub for her primary suite.

By making minor tweaks to the floor plan (straightening out the kitchen peninsula & removing a door from the primary bathroom to an existing hallway) the function of both the kitchen & the primary bath were improved.

The kitchen cabinetry is packed with function—tall pantry cabinets, deep drawers, durable quartz countertops & a compact coffee bar. The newly (re)finished hardwood floors, neutral paint throughout & renovated kitchen are a perfect compliment to the homeowner’s heirloom furniture, china, & artwork.

The primary bath is also outfitted with classic materials, including marble tile in both the shower enclosure & on the floor. The marble’s cool undertones are offset  with the accent of a warm brown grout.

Mixed metals give the space layering on either side of the room’s focal point, the soaker tub.
